Economical Caribou Hunt in Quebec

A227. High Cliff Camp - Indian House Lake, and the George River
If you seek unlimited horizons and untamed wilderness at an affordable Price, then this hunting adventure is for you. The hunt takes place on the bank of the spectacular George River, an area that was the traditional hunting grounds of the Naskapis and Montagnais Indians in Northern Quebec. The George River is today known worldwide for its excellent caribou hunting and for its world-class Atlantic Salmon fishing. During the past years, the migration was excellent in this region which is the calfving ground of the caribou. Because of these observations, we have decided to offer you this more economic version of our caribou hunting packages. The George River region is a mountainous and barren land. However, the river itself is bordered by scattered forests, making it an ideal hunting ground for the hunter to ambush passing caribou. The chances to bag your caribou are better in August, when the migration is at its peak. Caribou hunting is not the only outdoors experience available at High Cliff Camp, as you will have access to a fishing paradise for lake trout, speckled trout and Atlantic Salmon.
