Mountain Goat Hunting
Mountain goats are not particularly wary of hunters and rely
on the security of their cliffy territory. Approaching within shooting range is not difficult if
the hunter is able to negotiate the terrain. When possible, it is usually best to approach from above
as goats are more alert to possible danger from below. Goat horns are not particularly
impressive when compared to some of the other game species, but from the
standpoint of physical hardship, spectacular setting,
trophy judging, and difficulty of the terrain, the trophy billy goat presents
a unique challenge. For more details,

Cougar and Lynx
Hunts in British Columbia
British Columbia made
its mark on the map as one of, if not the premier area for hunting mountain
lion. Our area is not exception. The Fraser River basin along with its tremendous
Mule
Deer winter range is the home and habitat for these tremendous cats. We have
top hounds outfitted with tracking collars when it comes to show time. It is
up to us to find the right track and the rest is in the dog’s hand (or paws).
We access these hunts by snow machine and trucks. For more details, go to Mountain
Lion Hunting or Lynx
and Bobcat Hunts. To accomplish
the North American Cat Grand Slam, please visit our Cougar,
Lynx and Bobcat Grand Slam page. |
