Bear Hunt Over Bait

per Week
Imagine... A nice and comfortable cabin
surrounded by dark-green forests inhabited by bears, deer, moose, wolves and
other
wildlife. Good friends, good food and campfire camaraderie. That's what it's
all about!
This particular hunt is very popular among archery hunters because
it is an ARCHERY-ONLY hunt, it also offers the highest chances to bag one of
those glossy black bruins. Our baits
are "hot", it is not unusual for our archers to observe several bears feeding at the same
bait at the same time; that's why we can provided you with one
of the finnest bear hunting in Canada.
Bait and Tree-Stand Hunting
Our baiting sites are chosen after careful
scouting the bear's patterns. We use portable stands installed about 15 feet
above the ground and approx. 15to 20 yards from the bait. This set up provides
the best
shooting opportunity. Even at such a close range, killing a bear still requires
a perfect arrow placement. The bear's vital is only a an 8-inch square spot
just behind the front shoulder. It makes no difference how good you are,
if you
don't get
a perfect arrow placement, you will get nothing but a wounded bear. When
hit, a bear will not lie down and bleeds out but rather run until
he dies, which could be for miles. A good hit is therefore essential.
